(Black drawings), 2020, ink, paper 90 X 120 cm The history of black drawings begins from afar. All my drawings are born from a daily discipline of making. My nomadic condition (I lived away from home for many years) led me to use simple materials and tools over the years The paper as a medium is a single color, in this case black ink. With a few drops of ink we can paint many designs. In 2016 I started a project, one drawing a day for a year which then became two, three, etc. The recurring themes were the visions around me, domestic life, the objects that characterize it, the human body. Very quickly I realized that certain objects represented collided or met on another level, generating paradoxes, enigmas, anxieties.
